About one month to go!! :D

Hello! Thanks to everyone who is following my blog! For those of you who don't already know, I received my Guarantee Form on Tuesday! Which means I should know my exact departure date pretty soon! I will be staying in Grevenbroich, Germany- a small city of about 60,000 between the cities of Dusseldorf and Colone and on the border of the Netherlands. I thought it would be nice to start out by just telling you all about my host families (what I know so far, that is) soo, here they are:

My first host family..

Ilona Brandmann- Host Mom

Paul Brandmann- Host Dad

Johannes Brandmann- Host Brother (13)

Franziska (Franzi) Brandmann- Host Sister (16)

Right after they found out I would be living with them, my host mother sent me a very welcoming email, basically introducing the family. From what I know so far, they are all SO nice!! I've been talking to Franzi and Johannes on facebook quite a bit. Franzi will be in Mexico on Rotary Exchange while I am with her family, but she should be returning before I leave Germany, so I think we will be able to meet eachother! Franzi also gave me a Skype-tour of their house- which looks beautiful! Johannes has also been very welcoming to me. I can tell that I am not the only one who is super excited to be living with them! :)

My second host family...

I have a host father, mother, and 2 brothers, one who is 22 and another who is 19. I don't really know their names.. Just my host brother, Martin Meis (19). He added me as a friend on facebook a while ago, we talked some, but haven't much lately. I'm excited to get to know them all!!

I will be switching schools with my second host family-- basically, I go to one school with my first family, a different with my second one, and back to the first with my third host family (who I do not know yet)
